Designed by Design Theory, the space was conceptualised as a laboratory for illumination experimentation and ideas rather than showroom. The space encourages the exploration of possibilities. A central table and toolbox inspired joinery house a range of lighting tools which encourage interaction and collaboration. This central area simultaneously plays host to design sessions, client brainstorms and social events. The space is minimal and cosy while remaining impactful, with artworks; photography, sculpture and ceramics carefully curated by Art Theory to celebrate Victorian talent.

The space is designed to encourage hands-on creativity and collaboration, allowing clients to engage with a carefully curated selection of lighting tools and fittings to help visualise how each piece will complement their project. The space evokes a feeling of confidence with its high-end sophisticated fitout, carefully concealed drawers of fittings help to keep the space subtle and uncluttered, whilst providing a large selection of optics, finishes and technology.

The corner heritage building in South Melbourne will allow us to showcase our range in an exciting and dynamic new way – alongside our renewed branding and digital tools. The space gives us an engaging Melbourne base, allowing us to connect with local design industries in meaningful ways and grow into the Victorian market.
