Creating bespoke luminaires is a collaborative and intricate process that involves translating the consultant’s vision into a tangible, unique lighting solution. Our team work closely with consultant’s to understand their specific requirements, style preferences, and desired functionality for their project.
From conceptualisation to fabrication, we meticulously craft each bespoke light fitting with utmost attention to detail and craftsmanship. We explore a wide range of materials, finishes, and lighting technologies to bring the consultant’s vision to life while taking into account factors such as, construction methods, site conditions, and available resources.
3D models and Prototyping
We take the time to understand their needs and requirements to create an accurate brief. Our industrial designers then sketch and work on 3D models to see what’s the most viable and cost effective way to produce the required outcome.
Sometimes this is a modification to one of our suppliers standard products or in other cases requires a completely bespoke design.
With anything custom, quantity, budget and lead time always come into play. Our team will work with the designers and stake holders to make sure we can meet all these requirements before proceeding to mock up stage.
Once all stakeholders have agreed and approved the design in concept, if lead time and budget allow we will proceed to make a prototype for approval. This could be a 3D printed version or if feasible an exact mock up of the finished product. This then needs to be approved by all stakeholders and any final changes can be made prior to production of the order.

Our team carefully consider installation methods during the product development process, ensuring that the installation is efficient, safe, and user-friendly. We take into account factors such as ease of assembly, compatibility with existing infrastructure, and maintenance requirements.
