Designer Frederik Delbart found inspiration in the mediaeval times, where coats of arms adorned the walls of grand halls. He wanted to pair history with modern light technology and create an object that would outlast him. "I pay homage to the craftsmanship of that time. Topped off with a TIR lens (Total Internal Reflection) that is positioned with meticulous care, Chival casts a pure and powerful light beam.
