Unique materialization for sophisticated lighting solutions
With the new belux oto luminaire family, belux complements the product portfolio for sophisticated lighting solutions in the office, home office, hospitality and private home sectors. The idea and design of the new and unique lamp was created in the design studio OTO.berlin, with Philipp von Lintel and Joel Hoff. The interaction of different light levels in combination with the materialisation, which is unique in the high-quality lighting industry, supports the zeitgeist of current and future-oriented lighting planning.
The oto provides direct light with a precise optics package which enables homogeneous illumination of the workplace. The powerful indirect light creates a pleasant feeling of space and also optimises the even distribution of light on the desk. Emotion and ambience: the striking geometry of the diffuser made of high-quality silicone brings pleasant, atmospheric light into any environment.

Shaping Light
Belux is Swiss company founded in 1970 initially producing lights for the workshop sector. 10 years later, core business shifted to the development and production of designer lighting for living and working spaces.
Lighting instruments by Belux stand for long-lasting quality, guaranteed by a superior product culture on every level. Belux lighting fixtures are manufactured with a passionate attention to detail. This is evident in the selection of premium materials as well as the extraordinary care that goes into the actual production process, which involves a comparatively high degree of precise hand craftsmanship. The Belux product range consists primarily of standard production models. Customised products can be made to order if required, especially for projects in the contract sector.
Belux products are developed in close collaboration with external designers, whose conceptual and creative ideas are merged with the company’s expertise in lighting technology and manufacturing know-how. The aim is to achieve surprising lighting solutions that are convincing not only with regard to their functional and technical qualities, but also due to their attractive appearance.
